Welcome
To the MPD Follow-Up Conference
Much has happened in your life since you left New Staff Training. Most likely you have seen the Lord do some amazing things in your MPD efforts. You have seen the expected and the unexpected.
The last word in MPD is "development." Development is an ongoing process. Learning to raise support and to be a good steward of financial resources is just that, an ongoing process. The MPD Follow-Up Conference is designed to help you continue to develop these necessary skills for a lifetime of ministry as well as place you in community with others who are sharing the same highs and lows of MPD.
You will find the pace of this conference quite different from New Staff Training. It will allow you to get "out of the battle" for a few days and reflect upon the Lord and His call for your life. It will be a time of refreshment, as well as a time for you to gain some additional MPD ideas. You will also have an appointment with a trainer to discuss and evaluate how you are doing in MPD and to look over your presentation.
A second focus of the training is in the area of stewardship. As you start out your career with Campus Crusade we know you want to be fiscally responsible in such areas as budgeting, debt reduction, savings and retirement. At the conference you will be exposed to some excellent training and tools to help you move forward. You will also have the opportunity to meet with a staff person who will help you think through a stewardship plan and answer any questions you may have.
[Please note that all mid-career new staff from September training must attend the Arkansas follow up conference. All new staff from winter training must attend one of the other two conferences. These trainings are structured differently to address your specific life-phase.]
Wherever you are at on the faith journey of MPD and stewardship, we are excited to connect with you, to encourage you, and better equip you to be a fully funded laborer in the harvest!
