The Winshape Retreat center is located in Rome, Georgia which in northwest of Atlanta.  It is about a 90-minute drive from the Atlanta airport.  The Chatanooga airport is just under two-hours away.  Winshape is accessed through the grounds of Berry College.

We are offering complimentary airport shuttles between the Atlanta airport and Winshape at no charge during the following times. We will run busses as follows:

Arrival Busses: Monday, September 20

Departing the airport at: 10:30am  12 noon  2pm  3:30pm

Departure Busses: Thursday, September 23

Departing Winshape at: 2pm  and 3pm

The size of the bus will be determined by the number of riders at a particular time. You sign up for a bus as a part of the registration process.

If you plan on attending any of the pre-conference sessions the begin at 2pm on Monday afternoon (Introduction to Orality and the Practitioners Roundtable), you should plan your flights to arrive in time to catch the 10:30am or 12 noon buses. (Your flight should arrive at least 30 minutes prior to the bus departure time). For those coming for the evening start, please make sure your flight arrives no later than 3pm so you can catch the 3:30pm bus.

There are a number of wonderful things to do on the grounds so you may want to consider getting there as early as possible in order to enjoy the beautiful setting

The conference will END at 1:45pm on Thursday (after lunch). If you catch the 2pm bus, you should be to the airport around 3:30pm.  Please allow adequate time for checking in and security. 

Once you know your flight arrangements, please complete that section of the registration form to let us know your plans.  If you are arriving at a time that does not allow you to use one of our complementary buses, you will be on your own for transportation to the WinShape property.
